For about 31 years, Mr. Wheelchair has been catering to the medical and mobility needs of Philadelphia and New Jersey.  Specializing in custom scooter and power wheelchair modifications and repairs, all of our work is done in our repair shop or in certain situations, can be done in the comfort of your home.  Located at 7932-34 Frankford Ave, just south of Rhawn St. in the Mayfair, Holmesburg area, Mr. Wheelchair has the qualifications to build custom wheelchairs for special needs, and also stocks all home and durable medical equipment like scooters, wheelchairs, power chairs, seatlift chairs, STRETCHERS, hospital beds, stair lifts, bariatric/GERIATRIC equipment, custom ramps and lifts and a full line of accessories, medical supplies and all your hard to find daily living aids.  Mr. Wheelchair is also a full warranty service center and offers door to door service throughout the tri-state area. 

     We accept Visa, Mastercard and most insurances when eligible.  We also sell used equipment when available and accept trade-ins in certain situations.  We rent items like scooters, wheelchairs and power chairs when reserved.  We also offer loaners when eligible.  Mr. Wheelchair works with everyone and offers special contracts for all INDIVIDUAL HOMES, nursing homes, home care facilities, doctor offices, businesses and other organizations.  We also offer financing through a third party.
